Question:
ANYONE HAVE UHC THAT HAS PAID IN 2004 FOR WLS?

Remember that there are a pazillion different UHC policies floating around out there. Mine is through The Home Depot(ex husband's employer)--I believe it is UHC Options or Choice. Anyway, I had surgery Oct. 6 of this year...everything was covered.

There ARE so so many. My husband works for Unilever and we have UHC and I had surgery on August 31, 2004. My total bill was 39,600.00. My out of pocket has been 2,600.00 (mostly because of the private room). They took quick good care of me.

I have United Health Care EPO. I had my surgery on July 28, 2004. Everything was covered. I just had to pay my $100 inpatient hospital co-pay.

I have UHC--EPO. I had surgery in January 04 and they covered everything 100 percent. I only paid the 250.00 hospital ded.

I have UHC POS and it is paying for my wls this year.

I have uhc pos and barix clinic is in network so they are paying 100%

I have been under 2 different policies in 2004 with UHC through 2 different employers. Luckily the first policy covered WLS so I had my surgery on 3/16/04 because the 2nd one specifically does not.
