Question:
CAN CPAP MACHINES BE DONATED?

Well you know how you have the clothes exchange... well is it possible to do a CPAP machine exchange for those people that no longer have to use the machine to those people that go through the sleep study and find out that they have to be on one for the surgery. I know my insurance will not cover the machine for me and I didnt know if there was a different way to obtain one. Just an idea! thanks    — JUDY C. (posted on May 18, 2004)

The only place I have seen is on E-Bay, but the masks and such are not supposed to be re-sold.

It seems such a shame but since CPAP machines are by prescription only it is illegal to even give the machines away...
