Question:
Putting out more than taking in..GROSS SORRY
OK I have no clue how or why but I can "put out" more than I take in. As in BM, Poop, voiding! I mean WAY more. and I show it to someone and they say HOW you do not eat that much ina week! SO what is it all about? And I am platueing right now? — Sabrina H_NC (posted on January 31, 2004)

Is your BM yellowish in color? Or dark? Yellowish is actually fat leaving
your body. If its loose, it may appear more than it really is. If you
don't poo every day, you could be pooing out 3-4 days worth of food. Drink
more water to break that plateau. Call your surgeon and ask about the poo
to be safe.

I drink Enough water (2 gallons a day so 256 ounces) I think my Body is
comfortable where is GGGRRR. But No it is not the Yellow fat disposal
color. It is regular. and I make SURE i go daily. SO who knows!

I also found this to be true. I am pretty regular (daily).
I had complications from the surgery and for almost 2 months took nothing
in by mouth. No water, Food, shakes... nothing. Everything was given to
me by IV. I still went almost everyday. Less than now but the point is
that there was a significant amount of "poo" with nothing in my
GI tract. When I questioned the Dr.s about this, they said that a good
protion of a normal bm is bacteria, intestinal cells and other waste
products. Kinda gross huh!

I used to teach grade school. One unit we did was how the body works. The
poo is the wasted fuel used by your body cells plus what you could not
digest. That's why it doesn't look or smell the same as it went in too.
Since your body is using the stored fat for fuel instead of what you are
taking in, you still continue to have normal size or even large out put.

I read a funny quote on this site a while back and it has been so true for
me. "Eat like a bird and sh!t like a bear". Hee hee!!! I have
also found that I am in the same boat as you are. I guess it the fact that
we lose weight so fast and don't absorb as much aws we used to and perhaps
we are just more efficient now.
