Question:
Has anyone had any experience on whether Cobra/SRC co covers?

I'm not sure what SRC is, but do know about COBRA. COBRA is actually a
name for a federal law that says that, if you are laid off, your employer
has to allow you to stay in the same group plan you were in before the
layoff, for up to 18 months. This is if you have no other insurance
coverage. When my ex-husband was laid off, he was entitled to stay on his
company's plan, but I had to drop out because I had insurance with my
employer. Your former employer does not have to pay the premiums, and you
may have to pay a small administrative fee, but they have to allow you to
stay in the group. So, if your insurance covered WLS before you were laid
off, it will still cover it.

I had to take Cobra coverage after my husband decided to change jobs.I was
approved by UHC with his former company.I also had UHC with my company
company and they denied my surgery.SO we kept Uhc benefits with my company
for full family coverage and I had to continue coverage for myself only
through his former employer.I paid $221.00 per month for my coverage for
about 11 months,it was well worth every penny.....Self pay would have been
much higher. Not sure what SRC means.I hope this helps...
