I'm 10 weeks and my favorite things are: Turkey Store shredded BBQ turkey
and many other Turkey Store products; turkey sausage; egg beaters; string
cheese sticks; slices of reduced fat american cheese; manwhich made with
ground round; lowfat cottage cheese; albacore white tuna in the pouch. I
also was eating ham, haddock and other dense foods but started having
problems at week 6. I'm being scoped tomorrow to see what's going on.
<p>I eat 3-1/2 to 4 ounces per meal. I like 3 oz of the BBQ turkey
or the manwhich with a slice of the american cheese on it; I might have 3
oz cottage cheese and some rinsed diced peaches (in pear juice) on it; 3
oz. turkey sausage sliced and heated up in my Foreman grille and eat with
mild salsa; 2 string chees sticks for lunch many times; 1-1/2 ounces of
albacore white tuna and 1 cheese stick; eggs and cheese with mushrooms and
onions. I eat any of these combos for any meal - whatever strikes my
fancy. Many times I have the BBQ turkey or manwhich for breakfast and then
have cottage cheese or eggs for supper. It's just whatever sounds good to
me that meal.

I am 9 weeks out and I don't have as an exact answer as the previous poster
(impressive). I eat protein bars, small (really small) bowls of
multi-grain cheerios, baked chicken breast (in tin foil - really moist)
with american cheese, a slice of pizza (cheese pulled off the crust),
cottage cheese (w/fruit), my favorite - piece of sliced deli ham wrapped in
a peice of provolone cheese (can eat around 4 of these), meatloaf, ham,
fish fillets, tuna w/shredded parmesean, 1/2 an english muffin, etc. I've
been lucky that I've been able to eat whatever I want (went to lunch last
week and had buffalo chicken tenders - had them again for dinner that
night, and lunch for the next 2 days!!), if I take my time and chew well...
I have not tried steak or soda yet. I always eat protein first and rarely
have room for noodles or potatoes. Open RYN 2/13/03 down 51 #
