Question:
Does anyone else have problems with hot food?

I'm 2 months post-op and have noticed that cold food goes down not problem but anytime I eat heated foods it doesn't go down as easy and often gives me pain and/or I vomit. Has anyone else experienced this?    — Criston M. (posted on April 7, 2003)

I am almost the opposite, it is harder for me to tolerate cold foods. However, almost without fail, I will get sick on re-heated leftovers if they are warmed in the microwave. I have re-heated things in the oven and on the stove with no problems, but it is just something about that machine......

I had the same problem early on. As your pouch heals you should you have the ability to eat warmer foods.
