I had surgery on July 10, 2002 and have lost 48 pounds, so you are not abby normal. I had problems with retaining water and my pcp has put me on a diaretic (sp) which seems to have helped. My periods are also a mess, I went six weeks from surgery, had a normal one, went three weeks and had a day & a half quickie. But I'm 46 and my periods started getting weird before surgery. I don't know what lymphedema is - is that your ankles swelling? see your pcp. As for breaking the plateau - you know the drill, protein, water and excersize. Try changing your routine. Shake it up.
