Question:
What type of diet pills are you taking and how much?

I have been put on an appetite suppresant and am not sure what to think. I don't feel like it's working. Any info would be appreciated!    — STEPHANIE N. (posted on May 28, 2002)

Before my RNY, I tried ALL the diet pills. None of them ever worked more than a very short period of time. In my opinion, they're very ineffective. Additionally, if I did manage to lose a few pounds, I regained all the weight plus a little more when I stopped the pills.

I was just wondering why the doc put you on a diet pill? Your profile shows that you had surgery around July of 2001 - is everything okay? I won't ever go back to using pills or anything, if I can help it...they only did my system more damage than what already there. I wish you the best of luck with whatever is going on -
