An uneducated guess, and thoroughly unresearched theory here: A year after
I gave birth to each of my daughters, I experienced stop-me-in-my-tracks
pelvic pain. I associated this to my pelvis scrunching back to where it
belonged. In time, it stopped. Now, 3-3/4 months post-op and 55 pounds
later, my thighs hurt from time to time (but at least my knees don't!). I
think it may be my skeletal system trying to adjust to not carrying around
so much weight. Hmmm....instead of growing pains, perhaps 'losing pains'?
DISCLAIMER: I am not a doctor, and don't even play one on TV, so it's best
to ask your own! Good Luck to you!

I have the same disclaimer- I am not a Dr!!! However- I, too
have suffered the same pains you seem to be going through.
I attribute it to the weightloss- now that I have slowed down
my aches are fewer and farther between. It seems like every
10-15 lbs that are gone, I feel icky for a few nights (can't get
comfortable in bed at night and can't get comfortable sitting either),
then I seem to adjust and feel ok. I am down 106 lbs, and
it takes me a while to lose 10-15 lbs now that I am nearing
my goal, so I haven't noticed any hip pain for a while. Good luck-
I sure will be reading other responses to see if any scientific light
is shed on this!
