Try to remember your digestive system has been altered to a large extent.
I did deal with some severe constipation for a while. Then it was
extremely loose stools for a while. Your situation sounds a lot like mine
was. It will taken a while to straighten out, but you're not going through
anything bad, just perhaps unpleasant. Good Luck.

I also had my surgery last november and I have the exact same problems! I
think it is normal! AS the other person mentioned our systems were
"rewired" (lol) so it will take time to get us back on track! But
I do know one way to keep more regular is to keep up on our water intake!
this is something I struggle with! Hope that helps! Good luck!

My stools are lighter in color, and looser...I am 5 months out, don't know
if this will ever change, but it isn't a problem for me. I am fairly
regular, usually daily. Good luck.

Yes. I'm just over 4 mos post op, and recently have been bothered with
constipation. I did not want to take any additional pills (vitamins are
more than enough), so I did some research. Here's what I found....mix 4oz
prune juice with one cup applesauce. Add one teaspoon unprocessed wheat
bran. Mix well, drink at bedtime. After a few days, you should have a
smooth move. I know, but it sounds worse than it is. One more thing, the
recipe is for a full size stomach. I use half of everything, and have no
problem. I hope this helps.
