Question:
white blood count still low after a year.
I am 53 i had surgery 4 years ago, i dont eat alot of meat, my weight has stayed off, but my iron levels have been low and my Iron binding capacity is low, but my iron is better but my white blood count is still very low. I am very tired but that is all. I am now going to a hemotogiest and just wondering if anyone else has had this problem, not sure if i sould be worried or if this is from not eatting well. — toni W. I do not eat a lot of meat either, however, I do get my 70 grams of protein
in daily. I est cheese, yogurt, protein shakes, beans, tofu and I now have
to supplement with this yucky protein supplement called Proteinex. My NUT
put me on that stuff.
I do not have a low white blood count, I see you are seeing a hemotologist
for that, which I think is very intelligent.
Good luck!
