few questions about dr. friedman in pensacola,florida?

Two other gals that live near you use a Dr. Lord, you may want to read their questions and get in contact with them. I surely wouldn't want to be a self pay. I have had a lot of problems with my surgery, been in the hospital three times since the surgery with numerous tests.

I believe that Dr. Friedman is in the same clinic as Dr. Lord. The Surgical Weightloss Center does charge a $500 fee that is not covered by insurance. It pays for some classes/meetings that the surgeon requires before surgery. Some insurances will pay for the nutr. and psych. visits but the SWLC usually requires you see their people. There is a waiting list but usually by the time you get all of your required preop appts and classes completed your surgery date isn't far behind. Have you been to the information meeting that they offer once a month? It will answer lots of the questions you might have. Their number is (850) 416-7546 and you should call to preregister. They also have a support group meeting the 1st Tuesday of every month in the Greenhut Conference room at the main hospital entrance. The support group meeting is open to anyone. Dr. Lord did my RNY in Aug 2009 and I am down 90lbs. I hope this helps.
