Oh, my! I hope this is just curiosity, not that someone has it! Septic
shock is a very serious condition, kind of like having everything in the
body infected at once. If you even suspect someone has this, run do not
walk to the emergency room! For more information, check this link, or just

I doubt that YOU are experiencing septic shock; else you would be an
in-patient in a hospital, under close observation, and not posting
questions on the OH Website.

Septic shock basically means that your body is in a state of shock (pulse,
blood pressure, fever, etc. -- all affected) due to an infection, probably
from a nasty bacteria. If a body is in shock and it is not promptly and
properly treated, it can be life threatening.
