Excuse me, however we are not mind readers. Every policy is different. I
suggest that you contact your insurance company, or read your policy. You
are asking an impossible question.

Hi Judith, First off who's your insurance compnay? Secondly I also
suggest you contact the insurance company and ask outright. or get a copy
of the policy and read through it all the way, because each and every
insurance policy is different. Lastly ask your PCP or Surgeon, one of them
should know or will know when they put the paperwork through. Good Luck ~L

Hi Judith, I too suggest you get a copy of your insurance
"exclusion" and read it word for word. Alot of the time, it
doesn't exclude if the surgery is "medically necessary" and all
you have to do is prove that. Mine did and I got approved. Good luck!!

I don't think the question was worded as intended. I, unfortunately, don't
have an answer, as I ran into the same thing with my insurance carrier.
However, perhaps I can word it so that others will understand what you
mean.
If there is an exclusionary clause in the insurance policy regarding weight
loss surgeries/bariatric care, is there a way around it?
