Question:
Liquid Calcium Citrate?
If you use liquid calcium citrate, please let me know where you order it from. I want to make sure that I get the right product for bariatric patients. — jazzinco (posted on May 13, 2006)

They also sell it in most health food stores, so you don't have to pay
shipping, though the price is a little higher.

I realize most people are getting their vitamin and mineral information
from their doctors. I had all the supplements ready for post surgery, but
my surgeon recommended a different approach.
I take OptiSource chewable vitamins. They are designed specifically
for bariatric patients. The dosage is four chewable tablets daily and so
far, my bloodwork has been just fine. I am five months post op and had
bloodwork done at six weeks and four months.
The OptiSource vitamins are available online at Walgreens, and while
they are a little pricey, the convenience factor makes them worth it to me.

I get my vitamans from Wal-Mart since I refuse to pay a ton of money for
something I can get for a whole lot less. I'm on tabs and never had a
problem taking them. I know there is a chewable Calcium.

If you have a Whole Foods near you they have a liquid cal citrate. They
also have a great tasting cal citrate chewable.
