I don't know Clear fruit . . . but Vitamin Water is too high in sugar.
Try Aquafina Flavor Splash, or Dasani flavors. Fruit2Oh is good as well.

you can not have sugar. However liquids mean a whole lot of different
things. water, crystal light or drinks like that, broth with no meets or
veggies, 1 cup of 1% milk, jello, s/f hot chocolate, and a few more items.
It is very important for you to read all ingrediants.
good luck

Something I tried just the other day is the wal-mart brand (great value)
sugar free fruit punch mix. You can find it next to the chrystal Light at
wal-mart. It tastes just like sweetened kool-aid! I am SO serious! You
should try it. It also comes in Cherry and Grape. I have only tried fruit
punch. It has NO sugar and you can get it in these little (on-the-go)
packets. So, I just pop one in my purse and mix one up in a 16 oz bottle of
water while working. Try it! ~Melissa

Gin and Diet Coke-- no protein, but no carbs either, so that's my favorite
post-operative drink.
But, that aside, I found the Worldwide Protein canned drinks (vanilla
seemed to be least offensive) to go down the easiest-- they seemed to have
the least amount of fiber so they were more easily digested.

Steve, Don't you remember that most of our Doctors' protocol require no
carbonation. :-)

www.Protica.com has 2.7 oz vials with 25 grams of protein in each. This
will help with getting the required amount of protein in. I recommend
ordering the 4 assorted vials and see which one taste the best for you. I
looks expensive, but you have to figure how much does it cost for your
normal food for say 2 days (4 vials) or 12 days (case)? It evens out. You
wont have to take this the rest of your life, just the 4-6 weeks or so.

Yeah, I don't suggest the whole gin and diet coke thing... diet coke is a
no-no, the gas will stretch your stomach and make you feel yucky... try
diluted juice or those Profect protein drinks - they're really great. Plus,
get that water in. I think Nestle has a flavored water out now... no
calories, no sugar and they're pretty good. Good luck!

All right, so maybe no one else indulges in gin and Diet Coke. However, to
dispel some common myths, carbonnated beverages can make you feel very
uncomfortable early on and are a trigger beverage for many (in that they
may lead you to crave the old foods you associated with soda)-- plus they
don't add anything nutritionally to your life and the discomfort from the
carbonnation can discourage you from staying hydrated. However, the gas
doesn't stretch your pouch, particularly if you drink the stuff months
following surgery. However, that being said, I still avoided the stuff for
about one year following surgery because when I first tried it (at about 8
months post-op), the gas was very uncomfortable and bloating.

Ya Steve, what were you thinking?...It's all about the strawberry
margaritas!!!! I'm glad you made your post, I was afraid to after all the
alcohol post vulchers a week or so ago. And I emphatically agree with your
comment about carbonation. It doesn't stretch your pouch....it's called
BURP. I say this and swore off soda 4 years ago. As for the actual
question, the only thing I really drink anymore is water...sometimes tea or
crystal light, and coffee if I feel like a rebel. (Dr. told me no more.
/cry) I do not miss soda/carbonation at all.

Don't know about the US but up in Canada, you can get crystal light
slurpees at 7-11 :)
