Question:
Why do I feel completely drained after eating anything?
Every time I eat anything, about 10 to 15 mintues later I begin to feel nauseaed, weak, head spinning, speak becomes slirded, and it only last for about 20 mintues and then I am back to myself. I am 3 weeks post op and I can not tolerate soup anymore. Only water and sometimes it hurts, yogart, eggs, popislces. I have been eating regular foods but nothing real fatting because I can not stand it. I do not like beef or chicken (sometimes). Will I ever get to the point that no food will bother me or effect me this way. I know what to expect as far as real fatting foods, besides I no longer crave those foods anymore. — LANIE M. What kind of operation did you have? Sounds like the dumping syndrome to
me. Did your doctor tell you not to eat more than 10 grams of sugar per
meal or how much fat intake? Not do drink and eat at the same time? Do NOT
drink anything 30 minutes before or after you eat? Chew everything to mush.
At 3 weeks exactly what are you eating? Give us some idea of what and how
much and when so we can help you. Good luck!
