I considered going to UC Davis but there was like an 8 month wait just for a consult so I chose other options.

HI! I have written to UCDavis. The deal is Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Wolfe work together. Dr. Nguyen does mainly lap, Dr. Wolfe does mainly open. There IS a wait for a consult if YOU call for an appointment. I was told that if my PCP sent a referral, I could be seen within 2-4 weeks. I am not sure the validity of that, just what the secretary stated.
