What surgery did you have? Didn't your Dr. give you any guidelines?

Glad to see your back! At this point I think you should be moving toward
full liquids and not worrying about amounts. You need plenty of fluids. I
recommend the book weight loss surgery for dummies. You can get it on
Amazon. It will take you thru every stage of this journey. I am 2 yrs post
op and still refer to it! Good luck and welcome to the losers bench!

at 1 week out you are probably starting the soft food or mushy food stage
and you are allowed to eat only 6 tsp or 1 0unce of food. Believe me..its a
lot. you want to try to keep your meals as small as possible for as long as
possible for success. when I was 3-4 months I had to go to 2 ounces because
I wasn't losing and my body was in starvation mode. Discuss all this you r
dietian. They are there to help you. My daughter is 6 motnhs out and she
was told she could eat 2 ounces per meal at 1 month out. She is losing very
well also. I am 19 months out and met goal at 9.5 months. I was lsoing slow
at first..then BAM...found my sweet spot for losing and it came off. I hope
you enjoy great success as well! Hugs,Kim

Hi Barb you need to review what your doctor or diet consultant told you.
You did not have a simple surgery with the repair work that you had done.
If I were you I would go back or call to get that information. Each doctor
is different. Best not to take this all important question and worry
lightly. Listening to other people's advise on this might cause you damage.
GO back to your clinic papers and you might find your diet that they should
have given you. If for some reason you do not have it just like I said get
back in touch with them. As simple as that. Let me know how it goes.
XOXOXOX
