DOES EVERYONE WHO HAS HAD THE DS HAVE TO TAKE THE ADVANAGE VITAMINES OR THE AQU?WHAT IF YOU CANT AFFORD THEM ?IS THIS WHAT EVERYONE ELSE IS TAKING AFTER THERE DS SURGERY OR I GUESS I MEAN FOR LIFE.    — linda_1060 (posted on December 14, 2009)

I take the bariatric advantage, ADEK chewable. Great labs too. But in January my Vitamin A tanked, I think because I switched brands, a no-no. My vit A got low and I couldn't get it abck up. Good luck. -Jaime

You should have been informed before you surgery what vitamins you would need and for how long. This is one of the on going expenses with WLS and something that most doctors ask BEFORE they do the surgery and have you saddeled with something you can not afford on a month to month basis. You need your vitamins.
