Just be honest and answer the questions as they come. Mine asked me alot
about if I ever had eating disorders, if I was a smoker, if I had family
support, and so forth. Good luck! :)

I agree. Just be honest and open, they are trying to help you make this
tool a lifetime success.

I agree with the others. Be truthful and honest. This is what they do and
they are able to read right through people are not honest.
They will ask you about eating disorders, smoking and other addictive
behaviors. How you deal with stress, do you suffer from any mental health
disorders.(depression, bi polar)etc. Any family history of addictive
behaviors or obesity. Eating behaviors stress eating, boredom eating,
grazing, loss of control eating.
Social environment, do you work, who do you live with. Your support system.
I can't remember all of the questions but this should help. Good luck to
you and be honest you are only cheating yourself in the long run.

I had my psych appt. and was found to be depressed, causing a hurdle in my
weight loss surgery process. I am not sure if I should be happy or upset. I
am to either have psychotherapy or a note from my Dr. to address how I am
doing. I have been put on anti-depressant and am feeling better. The
psychiatrist said that it wouldn't damper my progress, but the weight loss
Dr.s office wants this note from family Dr. I had some upsetting health
news prior to my psych appt. that concerned me, I was lost and got to my
appt. late-all of this compounding my depression. Best of luck to you. Take
Care....

Above all, be honest. They're trying to help. Even if they put your
surgery on hold, they'll have you take some classes or get some therapy and
then reevaluate. They want your surgery to be successful and they want to
make sure you do as well as possible.

I had to get counseling for some emotional problems. It was worth it. Just
relax and be honest, you want your surgery to be successful, this is just
one more step on your journey.
May God Bless You Abundantly,
Kathie
