SOME PEOPLE AFTER SURGERY ESPECALLY ADOMINAL SURGERY KEEP THEIR BACK
HUNCHED OVER AND EVERYTIME THEY MOVE HOLD THEIR BREATH IN FEAR OF PAIN.
THIS CAN CAUSE THE BACK TO BECOME TENSED AND PAINFUL KIND-OF LIKE WHEN YOU
SIT AT YOUR DEAK AT WORK. "DON'T QUOTE ME" I'M NOT SAYING THIS
WHAT YOU ARE DOING JUST TAKE NOTICE OF YOURSELF WHEN YOU ARE STANDIND AND
MOVING AROUND MAKE SURE YOU HAVE GOOD BACK SUPPORT WHEN YOU SIT FOR A LONG
PERIOD OF TIME. TALK TO THE DR. TO MAKE SURE WHAT THE PROBLEM COULD BE.
KEEP US POSTED.

I HAD BACK PAIN AFTER MY RNY AS WELL. MY SURGEON TOLD ME THAT AS YOU LOSE
WEIGHT, YOUR CENTER OF GRAVITY CHANGES AND IT TAKES A LITTLE WHILE FOR YOUR
BODY TO ADJUST. AFTER ABOUT 1 MONTH THE BACK PAIN WAS MUCH BETTER. GOOD
LUCK AND CONGRATULATIONS FOR TAKING THE BOLD STEP TO HAVE THE SURGERY!!

I've had a large chest and have had back pain for most of my life. I know
your situation is different but there are some wonderful stretches you can
do to help ease back pain. You should be able to find some online. I see a
chiropractor and every now and then get a massage that really helps. But
they all recommend stretching it's good for your body and posture. I hope
you feel better soon. Lisa
