Question:
Does anyone know what it is I'm feeling?
I had GBS 5-1/2 weeks ago and sometimes I get the oddest sensation where I suppose my pouch is. I know I won't explain it properly, but it's almost like a hollow feeling (even after I've eaten). Remember before your surgery if you hadn't eaten in a really long time you felt like your stomach was so empty that the walls were up against your backbone? Not a painful sensation but a very hollow sensation - it didn't even feel like hunger, that's sort of what I think I'm feeling. Like I said it's not exactly painful, just a "sensation". Has anyone felt this and do you know what it is I'm feeling? — dnefews (posted on September 5, 2008)

I know that exact feeling. I'm almost 8 weeks out and it's gone away.
Good Luck!

Have you had your gallbladder remover? I felt a similar sensation which was
due to gall stones.
