Question:
anyone have any knots in stomach?

has anyone noticed a knot in their lower stomach not the kind that pops up and you can see the kind you just can feel when you rub your belly it doesnt hurt but i never noticed a knot before just wondering if anyone has had this is it normal?    — 270 (posted on October 15, 2007)

I personally have not noticed this but my hubby did and discovered he had a hernia. Please contact your Dr as soon as possible. Good Luck CarolynK

I did and found out I had 2 herinias. I just had them taken care of 3 weeks ago. I suggest to see your Surgeon and get it looked at.

Yes it was just a hirnia. But you should ask your Dr to be safe. They can fix it when you have your tummy tuck done.

It could be scar tissue forming but most likely a hernia. I had one fixed at 5 mos. post-op (18 mos. post now). Very common; nothing you did wrong. If it isn't painful you may not have to fix it immediately and can wait until you have a TT. However, sometimes you can't wait - mine got serious and had to be fixed asap. Your surgeon or some other general surgeon can advise you. I only spent 23 hrs in the hospital for my op so it's a very simple procedure. Best wishes! ~Sarah in VA

Could definitely be a hernia, definite ask the doctor ASAP. A hernia is when a portion of your small intestine slips through a tear in the abdominal muscle. This can cause a bowel obstruction, death of the protruding tissue, and the scary list goes on. Be safe and have the doctor take a look.
