Am I reading this right? You are 2 month post op and looking for a tummy
tuck? If so, you are way ahead of yourself. Your weight loss must be stable
for several months before you can think about a tummy tuck. Do you know
what a tummy tuck entails? (AndI hate the term "tummy tuck", by
the way. It really trivializes a pretty major procedure.)

I agree basically with what Susan said, just in no way HOW it was said. If
you are only two months out this is all still very new to you and I
understand you are very anxious to have the new and improved body you have
invisioned, but it is too early for PS, you can still do the research so
you will be fully prepared for when you are ready.
I think in order to have your tummy tuck, (i have no problems with that
term. I think it is a matter of preference which term you use and no one
should tell you any different), you need to have documented rashes that
will not go away w/ medications and perhaps documented back pain, hygiene
issues, etc. Not really sure because I will be self pay for mine next
month.
Best of luck to you.

I believe it is to early yet. I just had a tt and my insurance co
denied me at first because my request was put in to soon. they atlease
wanted me to wait a year and have a stable wt loss. after waiting 2 more
months my request was put back in and it was approved within a week. I know
every insurance co is different, you may want to check yours out. in the
mean time you can do your research also and do it well, cause it's just as
important to find the best surgeon and also to know just what to expect
etc. Best wishes

The thing that I hate the most is a person that wants everything YESTERDAY!
The weight did not go on overnight and it will not come off overnight. Just
follow your doctor's guidelines and the weight will come off in a timely
manner. Everything takes time after WLS and you need to have a healthy
eating plan in order to not get sick in the process. A person needs to have
their weight stable before they can have a TT and that is usually at about
18 months PO. Don't rush the process for yourself. Work the program and you
will loose the weight that you need to and then in no time you will be able
to have a TT. Pull out your doctor's or his dietician's instructions for
you on what you should eat.
