I had bc/bs ppo and I didnt not get anything back. I was told that I had to
pay for that part.

I had BC/BS PPO and did not get anything back. Paid that out of my medical
spending account.

Subit your bill to your insurance company....that is the only way you will
know for sure.

You will be reimbursed as long as it is a covered benefit under your plan
and if the Dr is/was BCBS contracted. PLEASE next time...since you DO have
an EPO go to a BCBS network Dr and don't pay up front. It can get messy.
The insurance should reimburse you for their contracted rate, but not the
entire amount. The rest will have to be reimbursed by the Dr....that's the
tricky part. Some are willing some are not. The Dr knows that the insurance
will only pay him a set amount of $ for a certain service. By you paying
him cash-you paid him more than he'd get from the insurance. Technically
he's supposed to give it back report him to the insurance company if he
