IF YOU TAKE VITA4LIFE, PLEASE READ

I am not sure of the amount. I take bariblend two in the morning and two in the evening (one calcium and one multi vitamin). The size of these was bothering me although I was told they would dissolve quickly. I would soak them in warm water until very soft but not broken and I have not had any problems since. For awhile, I opened and put in protein shakes but got tired of that. Hope this helps.

I'm not sure on that one either. I take Multitech Isontonix. This a a powder vitamin that you mix with water and take once a day. It absorbs in 5 to 10 minutes and does not need an gastric juices to disolve it since it is already predigested. I do notice that I have to let it sit for a minute after mixing it up because it is kinda bubbly at first. Once mixed you drink about a 1/4 cup of it. It kinda reminds me of Tang. Good luck to you.

Darla- thats because all you gettingis a GOOD TREAT- you new stomach does notproduce acid and will not absorb calcium carbonate (thats what Viactive & Tums are). YOU NEED TO TAKE CALCIUM CITRATE.

hi there, i was gonna tell you that viativ is calcium carbonate, that you need to take calcium citrate we do not absorb the carbonate. i was not happy taking the citracel caplets too big too many pills together, so my angel treated me to a bottle of liquid calcium. 1 tbsp in your shake in am and pm and calcium is taken care of. its $8.00 per bottle comes in strawberry , bluberry, vanilla. you can get it at wlssuccess.com. it takes about 7 days to get here, they are in washington. good luck

I had open RNY at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota 2 months ago..It is my understanding they have the best doctors in the world and they told me to take 2 Tums Ultra.which has calcium carbonate...I feel if you cant trust the Mayo Clinic who can you trust..Its Tums Ultra for me.

Hi i am 7 months post op and i take 4 centrum complete vitamins per day it is alot cheaper than vista vitamins, the centrum vitamins cost 10.00 at walmart for 130 of them and they last me all month where the vista vitamins cost 75.00 to 100.00 for a 2 month supply. i wouldn't buy the vista anymore go with centrum it is doc. recommendations. if i helped you in any way i am thankful. good luck kim
