Why not asked your doctor to request a sleep study test for you and rule out sleep apnea. I have a friend who lost 160 lbs, now at 150 and when they did her test it came back that the sleep apnea was still present. So you don't have to be overweight to have sleep apnea, it is just more common in people who are obese.

Hi, I had sleep apnea before I had this surgery done 9 mths ago and now it has gotten better, I don't wake up in the middle of the night like I use to and get out of breath, etc. I still though get really tired in the morning and get headaches sometimes too, but I think that is because I still have problems with going to bed to late, and that started after surgery I now can't fall asleep real early anymore. I heard that from alot of other people too who have had this surgery, I am not forsure what the cause of it is though. Also, yes it could be the meds we are taking too, cuz I am on a antidepressant too and on the lowest dose, and I also take a beta blcoker for my migraines, also the side affects fo the meds do cause dry mouth and can cause you to wake up in the middle of the night, I know that they did me, so you might want ot tell your doc again about that I had to so he switched meds for me and now I don't experience the dry mouth anymore, but unfortunately alot of meds do cause that side affect. Also, you can have your doc do another sleep study on you to rule out sleep apnea, I know that I need to have another one done just to make sure cuz we all can get it not matter what weight you are at! I hope things get better for you! Good Luck to You!
