I'VE HAD THE VIT B12 INJECTIONS AND IRON SHOTS BUT NOTHING IS BRINGING MY ENERGY BACK
DOCTORS HAVE RECCOMMENDED BOTH RITALIN AND PROVIGIL. ANY SUGGESIONS? PLEASE HELP! I'VE LOST 158# AND LOOK GREAT IN THE MIRROR AFTER THE TT BUT THE TIREDNESS HAS NOT GONE AWAY. I HAD MY OPEN RNY 13 MONTHS AGO. ANY HELP OUT THERE IS MUCH APPRECIATED! — JOY C. (posted on October 16, 2003)

Have you thought about using dots?... B12 sublinguele pills that you take
daily. Sometimes the injections will give you the rush and burst of energy
the first couple of weeks and them gradualy begin fading. I get mine from
www.vitalady.com they are fairly inexpensive, sometimes I cant believe the
energy I have, it wouldnt hurt to try them :0) I hope you feel better
soon!

at 13 months out you should consider a complete physical to see if they can
pinpoint the problem. Could be a multitude of things (some - gasp - that
have nothing to do with your WLS at all). You should not be this lacking
in energy especially with b-12 and iron. Get thee to your physician :>)

The B-12 pills and shots don't make me feel energized either. Have you
tried other natural routes such as bee pollen? I would hold off on
starting new medicines until the doctors get to the bottom of why you don't
have energy. There are many things that can make a person fatiqued:
thyroid, fibromyglagia, etc. Good luck.
