each doctor is different in what he/she wants the patient to consume. Does
your doctor have you in contact with a dietician? That person would be the
one to be in touch with. If one of us says to go ahead and have this or
that you may harm your pouch. So, your best bet is to be in contact with
your doctor or his/her designee to answer your questions.

I agree that you should be asking your surgeon. It's not that any one
surgeon has all the right answers. It's more a matter of following what
he/she recommends, so that if you do have any problems, they can't blame it
on your not following directions. I would definitely ask the surgeon to
put you in touch with a good dietician. One who knows WLS and how post-ops
should eat can be very, very helpful.

You should have your finger on the phone punching the numbers to your
surgeon's office and screaming this to them. No one on here knows how your
program is supposed to be. We can tell you about ours but it could be
drastically different than what you should be doing.
