Question:
What do you do about the extra skin on your stomach, it bothers me?

At age 62, I'm sure I will have my share of excess skin in 6 months. Even though I haven't worn a girdle in 50 years (Yes, there were all the rage in middle school!), I am surrendered to finding good quality compression garments. I feel sad I let things get so out of hand, but I did the best I had with the tools I had at the time. Many folks save up for plastic surgery, a non=covered elective surgery.

I am also bothered by this, as well as, dangles under the arms. Just remember, it used to be full of FAT. So, this is much better!!!

I had surgery and had the skin removed on my stomach and my arms, I thought about it along time and I am so glad I had it done. Insurance paid for my stomach and I paid monthly payments (no interest) for my arms.

Most all insurances will cover the removal of excess skin if you have problems with sores, rashes, yeast infections, and the sort. Any problem that is caused by excess moisture and skin overlap will cover it. Mine covered it because I was so big I had a lot of skin EVERY where, and when I would roll over in bed I would get a lap of skin pinch waking me up a lot at night, and skin pinching when sitting and other activities. I even had a fender bender because I moved in my seat pinched a lot of skin and it distracted me long enough to rear end another car. You may not have this kind of problem but I was REALLY large and had a lot of extra skin, (did you see Austin Powers movie with Fat Bastard losing a lot of weight?) I basically looked nearly as bad as that after my surgery. (I was really big)
