LOOKING FOR A TIMELINE......

my first appt. for guelph centre is in july 2010 so i was wondering if anyone knows what will come after that .....then maybe have a timeline for me as what to expect from this process...anything please thanks steff    — steff1970 (posted on February 2, 2011)

I wish there was an easy answer to your question. Although I have a timeline along with my costs for my Gastric Bypass on my profile it is all going to depend on your surgeon and your insurance. Surgeons and insurance companies have different requirements. Supply and demand will also play a part. When I began my process there were 4 surgeons on my hospital team. A little while later there were only 3 so the wait for a surgeon was longer than previously promised. Also I've heard of some people getting approval from their insurance company and then having the surgery a couple of weeks later. At my hospital there was a wait for an operating room. Contact your center and ask what to expect. It's the only way to get a true answer to your question.
