protein shakes
Can you tell me what kind of protein shakes are the easiest to take after surgery? — cuppaloopy (posted on November 4, 2009)

Just my preference - UNJURY.com The vanilla tastes like a milkshake when
mixed with skim milk. I like the chocolate, too. I guess most everyone has
their own preference.

I agree with the previous poster. Unjury is the best I have tried to date.
I think I have tried about 5 or 6 different protein mixes and I keep coming
back to Unjury.

HI
I take Isopure from GNC...really good. one scope of the powder w/ one cup
of skim milk equals 33 grams of protein. They also come in a variety of
flavors...I drink the dutch chocolate.

UNJURY by far is the BEST!!! There are tons of recipes to help you and
while I'm not a strawberry fan, the vanilla and the chocolate are best. I
love vanilla with 4 ice cubes and skimmed milk and even a little vanilla
extract. www.unjury.com
And wait until you try their chicken soup!!!

I use Gold Standard that I get at NC. I like it becuase you can use it
with warm liquids with out reducing the nutritional level.

The Chike Orange Creme is to die for. I mixed it with a cup of skim milk
and it was like have a Dreamsicle. YUM!! Their Strawberry Burst mixed in
with Crystal Light Lemonade is also mouth watering.
I'll vote for Unjury for the Chocolte, Vanilla and Chicken Soup, though.
It's the best. The Chike Vanilla and Chocolate seemed kind of grainy to
me. . . but still was good with no aftertaste.
I also like the IsoPure ZeroCarb protein drink in Grape Frost and Alpine
Blast. I use those to hydrate while exercising.

I already shared this on a previous question, there is a good product you
can get at Walmart. It is the huge canisters of Whey Protein, 52Grams per
double scoop serving. Buy the shaker that is right next to the product. I
shake 2 scoops in 10 ounces of water, and I like the Strawberry the best,
then the chocolate. All the others are really bad tasting! One trick to
taking it is that once I start drinking it, I don't stop until it's all
gone!! LOL* At $14.88 per canister, it comes out to about $1 a day. It's
low on carbs, and has done amazingly well in turning my hair loss around.
I use water so I don't "use up" my daily limit of carbs,
30grams/day. Once I got used to it, it isn't so bad and I love the results
I have experienced with regard to my hair loss.
