i only have medicaid do anyone knows a docter that will help me.

Ethel, alot of doctors take medicaid. Check in your hometown first. If not then check the nearest largest city to you. Best Wishes, Mickey..........

Mercy hospital in Chicago has a program and they except Medcaid. It is actually easier to have wsl approved by public aid then by insurance. If you need any further info let me know. I have medicaid and surgery date is set for Dec 13th. Good Luck

You need to go to a Center of Excellence. You can look them up online for your state and then call, you can get info from them. Good Luck.~~~~~~danielle

I should have looked at ur pro fist. I see ur in Fla. Here is a number to the hospital I am going too. I have met some people, and they have it as well as you. It's, The Cleveland Clinid, in Weston.. (954)659-5000. ASk for Dr. Rosenthal's office. Good Luck.. ~~~~Danielle

Hi, I am not sure what state you are in, but here in the Tampa, FL area. There is a Dr. thru STAYWELL Ins. that will except this ins. I found NO one in FL. anywhere that would take straight medicaid. Call the Hospitals of "excellance" in your state and that should be where you find a Dr. or someone to help direct you. Dont give up....just keep asking and you will find what you need. Julie

Go to www.asbs.org and find the closest Center of Excellence. They will have a doctor there that takes Medicad.

First find a primary doctor who takes medicaid in your state, which I understand is Florida. If he/she is willing to refer you, get a name of a bariatric surgeon in your area who takes medicaid also. If no one near you, then you may have to travel, but at least get a primary near you.

i to have medicaid well healthease and live in fla. i can not find ANY dr who takes it . they say medicaid wont pay what the drs charge . dont know, but if you find one please let me know and ill do the same .good luck
