Mine was falling out due to lack of protein and vitamins. Once I got the
two of them up the hair loss ended. I lost a ton of hair (went from very
thick hair to thin hair) during a one to two month period. Hope this
helps.

Almost everyone loses at least some hair temporarily. (Key word -
temporarily!) Protein and vitamins are definitely the way to go.
Vitamin-wise, Biotin, in particular, is important. I take a chewable /
lozenge type that I got at Vitamin Shoppe. I've also heard Flax Seed is
good, but haven't tried it myself. I haven't lost as much as some people do
- lucky for me, since I don't have much to lose! From what I've read, it
will stop and it will grow back. Hang in there!

I had surgery September 29th and I have lost a considerable amount of hair
starting at about 2 1/2 months. I have maintain 70-80 grams of protein
intake since surgery, but hair loss still occurs. Your body has such a
shock to itself with having such rapid weight loss along with protein
reduction and fat reduction it will hibernate your hair follicles to allow
protein and nutrients to be directed elsewhere. As long as you take your
vitamins and get your protein in your hair loss with only be temporary. I
am starting to see regrowth over the past 2 weeks finally. If you do not
get your recommended protein in, your body may not regrow your hair fully
and you will continue with thin hair. While I thought I would lose all of
my hair, I haven't, but it is really thin. hang in there, do the right
protein intake and you will have hair growth soon. Good luck. Shelly
