Well, for breakfast I eat oatmeal 1/2 cup with splenda or 1/2 carton= 1 egg
of egg beaters. For lunch, I eat a 2 oz salad with 3ozs meat or I will eat
string cheese ( 1 piece ) or 1/2 lean cuisine dinner. For supper I eat 2 or
3 items such a vegies at 1/4 cup each and 2 ozs meat. If I want a snack I
eat Blue Bunny Lite 85 yogurt fat free and no added sugar and/ or fruit1/4
cup.I eat 3 meals a day and 1 snack. I also will eat a rice cake sometimes
if I want to munch. I drink 54 - 64 ounces of calorie free , caffiene free
liquids per day. Hope this helps. I am 3 1/2 months post op. JAMIE

I am 11 weeks post-op today. On an average day, I eat either a 1.5 oz.
slice of cheese or a 6 oz. yogurt for breakfast. For lunch I eat 1/3 cup
of tuna on sliced cucumbers instead of bread. For dinner I eat 1/2 to 3/4
of a chicken breast and some grilled veggies. Once in a while I eat a
sugar free popsicle if I get a sweet tooth, which isn't too often any more.
Someone brought Krispy Kreme donuts to work today. Oh they smelled soooo
good. But at the same time I wasn't really interested. :o)

I'm about 14- weeks post op but I can tell you what I'm eating...it hasn't
really changed. To be quite honest - hardly anything truly works for me.
Chicken doesn't work, steak doesn't work, pork doesn't work, turkey sausage
with the peeling peeled off of it works but only if peeled. Ground
hamburger meat works well but no matter what I'm eating - I MIGHT get a
half of a child's serving...and that's a big might. 1/4 of a child's
serving or less is probably more like it. I normally have a protein shake
in the morning - soup or something light at lunch - and I try and eat a bit
better in the evenings but it's really not working. Good luck to you
though - I can say the rewards are great and I'm feeling much better but
SCHEEZE. :) It'll be okay.....let me know how your doing, will ya?

Hi..I am 3.5 months post-op and eat just about anything I want. I have no
issues with meat, chicken, etc. I don't get hung up on following any kind
of diet. I just eat a heck of a lot less than I used to :) AND drink 64 oz.
+ per day. I eat three meals a day and 1-2 snacks. I try to limit carbs but
sometimes I will eat an english muffin with peanut butter for breakfast. I
am down 76 pounds and feel GREAT! GOOD LUCK!

I'm 3.5 months post-op and I know I'm not eating as much as I should. I've
been dealing with a lot of pain in my back and abdomen and I'm on a lot of
medication that makes me nauseous. So just the thought of eating is too
much for me. I eat about 3 times a day and will have a 6 oz protein shake
for breakfast, cottage cheese and fruit or something similar for lunch, and
lately I've been eating an ear of corn of dinner just about every day. If
I'm feeling nauseous between those meals, I'll munch on a few crackers or
have a little fruit. I've able to eat just about anything as long as it's
not too high in fat or sugar, but a lot of food is makes my naseous, so I'm
sticking mainly with fresh fruit and veggies for now.
