Question:
I took vitamin E before surgery for hot flashes and it worked great.

After surgery they were gone totally. Now after 6 months they are back big time. I am trying the vitamin E again but it is not working. I am wondering if we do not except oil type pills. If our system does not digest them and make them work. I can't take hormones and estrigen because of breast cancer in the family. Any help would be appreciated.    — JUDY E. I read once on this site that we should not take the gel/ oil capsules, but rather the(dry-powder) tablet form of vit E.
