Question:
How to get medicare to pay for plastic surgery?

Has anyone went through medicare to have skin removal surgery? My mother is in desparate need of this and hasn't been able to get help from anyone. They did pay for her breast but that is it. Please help me, she is begging for answers and help!    — stwln8 (posted on July 22, 2012)

I am a pre-op but from reading forums daily I know to get most insurance companies to pay for plastics after surgery is for there to be documented infections or skin rashes that is caused from extra skin.

yes medicare does what is her part b mines is fidels my hmo in ny im having breast/tummy panni/upperflank lift which means under my breast and arms .. all u need a your dr surgey he will summit a form to ins why u need it and have your reg Doc summit a form/ that it will be good for for your health,is will be faster i had my nerolgiest neck/back Doctor summit a form too and all was approve in 1 week.. went Office in july 19 2012 by july the set my suregy date in july 27 but we had make it aug 13 no operating room lol all filled haha
