I'm 27 months out from my rny. First, don't stress it. You've caught it
in the beginning. There are a couple of things that you can do: go back to
basic of protein, fluid, vitamins, excercise. Journal your food intake.
Weigh and measure everything. Another is go to someplace like WW. WW is
fine when you have 40 lbs or less to lose and help keep it off. Have you
talked to the nutrionist/dietician at your center? If not, call them and
find out their take on things.

I have to agree with foxymama...I had RNY june 2009 and put on 10 pounds
from several hopitalizations in a row that kept me from exercising. That
was July/August and I STILL have only lost 3 of those pesky pounds....I
kept a food journal and saw instantly I was over eating. Even though we are
a good measure of time out we can easily fall backwards....good luck.

Protein shakes over time = Gaining! Protein is needed for the bones but it
will eventually make you gain weight over time like what is happening now!
I can't gain an oz and I never did protein shakes. My bones are suffering
but my weight is great! 115 lbs, 8 years out!
