Question:
Devrom Tablets

I heard that Devrom works wonders for gas after WLS. Whats the best way to take the tablets? How often and how many. Do you take them only before eating or several times a day for insurance? Im ordering them and see the directions but was looking for any help for maximum effectiveness.    — T. Preston (posted on March 12, 2010)

Since they're so expensive, I only take them when I know I'm going to be out in public, and I take two at a time, right after my meal. I also keep two to four tablets with me, in case I'm out longer than I think I'm going to be. I chew them... they're not bad tasting at all, and I want them in my system as quickly as possible. You still have the gas....it just doesn't smell bad (or not so's someone else would be likely to notice it).

I've been using Devrom for almost 2 months and it's helped tremendously. I normally take 2 capsules 3 times/day. I take them after my breakfast and lunch while I'm at work. Sometimes I skip the dinner dose if I'm going to be home and not around other people. Thank goodness for this product!!!!

I take them 3 times a day every day. I just chew one or two depending on how things have been and go on about my business. I order them directly from devrom.com so that they aren't that expensive. They have made a huge difference for me since I have to be around people all day every day I couldn't ask for a better solution.

i have tried them. they are very expensive. I found they really didn't work for me. I read here that the Phillips colon Health worked for some people. I tried them. they are truly the only thing that has worked for me. i have tried the health food store probiotics, very pricey. Colon Health worked the best. i get them at WalMart for about 11 bucks a month.

I use one with every meal. They don't decrease the gas. They are an intestinal deoderant, so it doesn't smell quite so bad. Now, if I run out, I can tell that they really do work!
