I have the lapband system band (2007) and have acid reflux and my doctor has prescribed prevaciad and it seems to work. I would suggest no more than 4oz of food at 1 time and wait 1/2 hour before and after eating to have your liquids. Hope this helps Joann

When I was seeing the dietician there was a lady that was telling us that she had it and now she is getting RNY because of this.
