where do you buy the almond milk. GNC or the grocery store? If in the grocery store what section. I have never seen or heard of it. I am guessing it actually comes from almonds,,,kinda like coconut milk? — buggyboot (posted on June 4, 2009)

oh and one more thing....i forgot to ask. cottage cheese...regular, low fat
or fat free? I prefer regular of course..but what is your opinion?.I met
with my surgeon today.....now it goes to insurance for approval, then a
date and then the table. Hopefully it will go quickly I have bcbs.

I use low fat small curd. And still lose weight on it. I put a couple of
slices of no sugar added peaches in it, have that for breakfast sometimes.
I usually only have about a fourth of a cup. It is a good source of
protein.

Here in CA, it is on the store shelves with the boxes of soy milk and rice
milk. Trader Joe's - if you havce one - is a good source for any of those.
Whole foods Market also carries it, and yes, it is made from almonds.

Sorry! I go away on the weekends where I give up all electronics, TV,
computers, cell phones and live in the woods 3-4 days of my week...You can
find Almond milk in the health food section in cartons with soy and rice
milk...Here's what it looks like:
