Question:
Anyone have GREATWEST INS

Does anyone have GreatWest Ins? and if so I have been on a diet through my doctor for 5 months is that good enough for the ins? I sure hope so because no on {in the med field has told me any diff} I tried 6 months ago and my ins denied because I needed to go on a diet for 6 mos. I don't have that insurance, however, just be sure that you have been doing a medically supervised weight loss program so that your insurance will consider it acceptable. Good luck, Dawn

I do have Great West and had my surgery 9-6-06. they were super. I did have everything they required, including the docs diet, so that did suffice. Seems like the packet we faxed to the ins. co was 2 inches thick. I had forms for each month with my progress and his signature. However, the cincher was the letter of necessity. I wrote it and the doc filled in where he needed to. good luck and enjoy the ride.
