about protein drinks

to answer the question about protein everyone's dietician explains what to do drink, eat before you have surgery i'm sure everyone went to classes before. As far as the protein drinks go I drink protein shakes their called 50 Gram Slam they are delicious, especially the banana cream and strawberry they have 2 grams of sugar in it My dietician said they are good . I thought the price of these shakes was a little pricey. I went online to check them out.... almost $4 a can!!!

I would gag before I could drink a full 15 ounces. Even if it is a meal replacement, that is a lot to drink. Might try it though. The Profect protein shots are only 3 ounces and two of them would give you 50 grams, and not near as much to drink. Just as pricey though. But we have to think of it as a true meal replacement and figure it cuts into the grocery money, no matter how we do it.
