Question:
What is the average healing time following hernia/TT surgery?

Hi CIndy, I had my hernia and tummy tuck at the same time. I am a smoker and I got tissue necrosis from smoking and it took over a year for healing. They say it takes about 6 months but you can go back to work like in 6 weeks, JUST dont lift anything for 6 months over 5 pounds. Wishing you the best, Mickey.......

I heard a month but you said u smoke so maybe a month or two longer, You heal a lot slower being a smoker. I also had a hernia and i am 6 days post op
