Hi I had my RNY on 10/31. Congrats on your surgery. Just a couple of questions..... are you getting your 2 quarts of water/fluids in daily? (extreeeeeeemely important- this is how the fat is carried out of your body) Are you getting enough protein in? minimum of 60-80gms daily. if not buy some "anywhey" protein supp. (there are others out there) it is tasteless and you mix it in your soup, cereal, etc... And, lastly, are you making sure that you are getting all of your vitamin replacements in? If the answer was yes to all of the above questions, then get up and walk around, believe it or not, it will help with the lack of energy .... it just takes some doing to get going LOL.... Also, it could be your body adjusting to the "starvation mode" that it is in. Don't get discouraged ... keep your eye on the prize...... :-)

Hi Lolita, Remember to take your vitamins and plenty of water. You will feel sluggish for a little while; you're recovering from anesthesia and you aren't eating as much as preop. Hang in there... it gets better. Im two months out, feeling wonderful.

Give yourself time to heal, follow your Dr. orders to the 'T' and get plenty of rest in order for your body to heal. It took me over a week to start feeling more like myself. Congrats on your surgery, good luck.
