Question:
Please Help! My surgical consult is today and

I don't know if I have everything I need or if there isany last minute information or suggestion's any one can give me? I'm so excited and nervous at the same time! Here is a list of everything I have gathered: referal from pcp, blood tests, pilmonary function test, oximetry (OPO) test, EKG, Stress test, Chest X-ray, Psych Eval, Letter to my surgeon stating why I want surgery, diet history, and question's for the surgeon. Anything else anyone can think of that I need or need to know? any help is appreciated.    — HAILEY (posted on February 14, 2006)

My surgeon consult was on the 3rd.... Sounds like you are ready like I was.. We just want it done ASAP .... The Insurance will actually ask the surgeon for anything they need you sound very READY.... Don't be nervous it's usually a meet and greet... I with ya... I am waiting for approval now... If you want to do this together... I am here.. You are in my prayers... Rosie

I hope you had a great surgery consult. You will have to update when you get your date. That was one of the hardest part for me... waiting for a surgery date! I am so happy and grateful I had my lap. RNY 8/2/05. My life has turned positive in so many ways. The biggest one is my health- it has improved 100%. Best of luck to you : ) Smiles, Jenna
