Question:
Does anyone know of any good websites to buy sample protein drinks???
Ok so I'm going through these classes to have RNY and my teacher told us to sample as many protein drinks as we can and stock up on the ones we like. Where can I buy samples of protein drinks preferably at a reasonable price? Thanks — Tamara C. (posted on December 7, 2005)

Bariatric eating has a nice sample pack that you can buy which has many
samples of different types of protein. I just had surgery and purchased
this myself.

Actually, the ONLY Place you can expect to pay REASONABLE prices for WHEY
PROTEIN (which used to be what they threw away when they made cheesd) is
WAL-MART WAL-MART WAL-MART.
.......................................................................
Unjury --- $17 for 11.7 ounces - PLUS SHIPPING
...............................................................................
Six Star Body Fuel at Wal-Mart --- $15.22 for 32 ounces
...............................................................................
They carry two more long-produced & well-known brands, at even bigger
savings. No shipping & you support your local economy, too.

Go to shopzilla.com and enter protein drinks in the search field. Some
places may pop up. I found a place that sell smoothie mixtures by entering
smoothie as a search. Good Luck

+I think you have lots of sources now, BUT I would not buy too much of
anything. Because what you may like efore surgery is probably going to
change as something weird happens to our taste buds in the early days
post-op. So many people in my support group end up giving away protein
they likes before surgery after surgery - usually because they are too
sweet. I would but a little of each and wait until after surgery to decide
were to spend your money. I personnally liked Unjury after surgery. Now I
am adding Martix chocolate (w/ water) as milk makes it too rich for me. I
have been on protein drinks for 4 months due to complications so I have
tried a lot of different kinds. Best Wishes!!!!! P.S. Unjury comes in
Vanilla, CHocolate, Strawberry and Unflavored. Unflavored is now working
well for me to add to yogurt, cream of wheat, etc. as I started eating
blended foods this week. It is a great way to bump up your protein without
adding any taste.
