REVISIONS?

Yes, I my first RNY in 1990. I had a revision on 12/27/11. My first one had essentially come undone. I had a lot of scar tissue. When I had the revision, I had a partial gastrectomy. My current surgeon referred to my first procedure as a Gomez. I've done well so far.

yes. I had my original surgery in 1997. He retired about seven years ago. Now, I'm having big problems with malabsorption and continued weight loss, so I'm having revision RNY next week with a doc who specializes in complicated cases.
