Question:
has anyone had plastic surgery done in Ottawa,Ont. and has OHIP helped with finances?

Hi I am from Alexandria Ontario. I have been told that we are entitled to have 2 free surgeries if we live in ontario. you cam choose tummy, legs, breasts or the arms.You will have to have it referred to a plastic surgeon by the doctor that is following you here in Canada. However having said that you need to have kept the weight off for one full year before going to have this surgery.I am 11 out of surgery (RNY) so I have 13 months to go before I would be considered. My doctors said that I would be recommended to have a tummy done since I don't have any leg breast or breast skin hanging at all.. I had previously in 2003 had a breast reduction so the ladies stil look fine. And yes it was paid by OHIP.
